OPI DS Couture

OPI DS Couture (DS 004) is the only holographic nail polish from OPI I have so far. The color is like a brick. The picture was taken in the shade so you can´t see its holographic power. Je to jediný holografický lak od OPI, který doposud mám. Myslím, že podobně jako u My Private Jet, existuje víc jeho verzí, já mám tu originální (DS 004). Barva je taková cihlová. Nevím, proč všechny holografické laky fotím jen ve stínu, když na Slunci jsou tak hezké. A tento má fakt silný holo efekt. Možná někdy v budoucnu, staré fotky sem dávat nebudu... Lakovala jsem dvě vrstvy bez nadlaku.

Spring and Summer Fuchsia, Pink, Orange and Red toned Colors

I am so sorry but the first two colors are different in real life, especially Mrs. Robinson (darker and more bright IRL). They both are neons and hard to photograph. They are bright and wonderful. Dry (semi)matte. Sparitual Color Trip is the best bright fuchsia color I´ve seen, I love it. OPI La Paz-itively Hot is a pink nail polish with a blue reflection. První dvě barvy neodpovídají skutečnosti, hlavně Mrs. Robinson, který je tmavší a výraznější. Obě jsou neonky a těžko se fotí. Jsou výrazné a krásné, schnou polomatně. Sparitual Color Trip je nejhezčí výrazný fuchsiový lak, jaký jsem viděla, je nádherný. OPI La Paz-itively Hot je růžový lak s modrým odleskem. Dvě vrstvy všech bez nadlaku.

Nubar Red Sea Coral is almost the same as Orly Pixy Stix but I thik better. It´s more fresh than Orly. Watermelon is pretty, too. Two coats of all without any top coat.

Nubar Red Sea Coral je skoro stejný jako Orly Pixy Stix, ale podle mě hezčí, šťavnatější. Watermelon je taky hezký. Dvě vrstvy všech bez nadlaku.

OPI Skull & Glossbones and Silver Shatter

A light grey creme nail polish from OPI´s Pirates Of The Caribbean collection (Spring/Summer 2011). Could be something between Essie´s Body Language and Playa Del Platinum. It´s slightly green tinted but you will not remark it. It´s not so grey in real life. I did two coats without any top coat. On the second picture, I added one coat of Silver Shatter. Shatter is not as much silver as I expected, reminds me some iron dust. I quite like it. © sonidlo´s nail polishes.

Světle šedý krémový lak z kolekce Pirates Of The Caribbean od OPI (Jaro/Léto 2011). Řekla bych, že je barevně mezi Essie Body Language a Playa Del Platinum. Je jemně zabarvený do zelena, ale asi si toho nevšimnete. Ve skutečnosti není tak šedý jako na fotce, víc do žluto/zelenobíla. Měla jsem dvě vrstvy bez nadlaku. Na druhé fotce je navíc jedna vrstva Silver Shatteru. Shatter není tak stříbrný, jak jsem si ho představovala, připomíná mi spíš železné piliny. Docela se mi líbí, ne zrovna na tomto šedém podkladu.

Yves Rocher Rose Pastel 61

A light pink creme with hardly visible satin silver shimmer. The pink is warmer in real life. I got this nail polish from my husband for my birthday (last year he bought me Yves Rocher Bordeaux 32). The application was good, I like Yves Rocher´s brushes. The first coat was streaky. The consistence was thick, it reminded me jelly nail polishes. If I compare the bottle of Yves Rocher Rose Pastel, OPI I Think In Pink and OPI It´s A Girl, the color of Rose Pastel is between the two OPI´s. Světle růžový krémový lak s málo viditelným saténovým stříbrným shimmerem. Ve skutečnosti je růžová teplejší. Tento lak jsem dostala od manžela k narozeninám, loni mi dal Yves Rocher Bordeaux 32). Oba vybíral sám. Aplikace Rose Pastel byla bez problémů, oblíbila jsem si Yves Rocher štětečky. První vrstva pruhovala. Konzistence byla hustší, lak je tak napůl jelly. Při porovnání lahviček Yves Rocher Rose Pastel, OPI I Think In Pink a OPI It´s A Girl byl Rose Pastel barevně mezi oběma OPI. Lakovala jsem dvě vrtsvy s nadlakem.

Essie Demure Vixen

A dusky mauve nude creme nail polish with hardly visible (on nails) pink and blue shimmer, from Essie´s Summer 2010 collection. The base color is similar to OPI´s Tickle My France-y. I did two coats with a top coat. Written by sonidlo, © sonidlo´s nail polishes, a nail polish blog.

Do fialova zabarvený tělový krémový lak s málo viditelným jemným růžovým a modrým shimmerem. Pochází z kolekce Summer 2010 od Essie. Jeho základová barva se podobá OPI Tickle My France-y. Lakovala jsem dvě vrstvy s nadlakem.

OPI Done Out In Deco

Zatemnělý a jakoby sepraný šeříkový lak z kolekce South Beach od OPI (Jaro 2009). Velmi dobře se lakoval. Nanesla jsem jen jednu vrstvu bez nadlaku, ale ve dvou by určitě vypadal lépe.

Barry M Crackle Nail Polish - layering experiments

Zoya Gilda

A hot fuchsia foil made up of little glass flecks, from Zoya´s Sparkle collection (Summer 2010). Dries smoothly, not like a nail polish with glitters. I love it. Výrazný fuchsiový lak složený z jakoby fóliových kousků, ne glitrů, a proto ani neschne s hrubým povrchem. Z kolekce Sparkle od Zoyi (léto 2010). Je půjčený od Boruvky a hrozně se mi líbí. Ze stejné kolekce pochází také Zoya Ivanka. Dvě vrstvy bez nadlaku.

Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter once more...

Dark red (wine) jelly with irregular bigger green, blue, red and orange, and smaller round silver and pink glitters. Two coats with a top coat. © sonidlo´s nail polishes.

Tmavě červený do vínova jelly lak s většími a tvarově nepravidelnými zelenými, modrými, červenými a oranžovými glitry a menšími kulatými stříbrnými a růžovými glitry. Dvě vrstvy s nadlakem.

Barry M Crackle Nail Polish - blue, pink and white

Blue Print (315). One coat of blue crackle over one coat of Nubar Dark Castle, and a top coat. This crackle is my favorite, it has the best effect and the most watery consistence of the three I post about, applied good. In the bottle looks lighter than on nails. I love this combination.

Blue Print (odstín 315). Jedna vrstva modrého praskacího laku přes jednu vrstvu Nubaru Dark Castle, a nadlak. Blue Print je můj favorit ze všech tří crackle laků. Konzistenci má ve srovnání s ostatními vodovější a dobře se nanášel. Praskací efekt nejlepší ze všech. Barva na nehtech tmavší než v lahvičce, což mě příjemně překvapilo. V kombinaci s tímto tmavě šedým třpytivým Nubarem prostě nádhera.

Pink Fizz (314). One coat of pink crackle nail polish over one coat of China Glaze Snow, and a top coat. Also very pretty.

Pink Fizz (odstín 314). Jedna vrstva růžového praskacího laku přes jednu vrstvu bílého China Glaze Snow, a nadlak. Tato kombinace se mi taky moc líbila.

White Frost (316). One coat of white crackle over one coat of Essie Going Incognito, and a top coat. White crackle was the most dense of the three crackles. It´s great for other layering experiments.

White Frost (odstín 316). Jedna vrstva bílého praskacího laku přes jednu vrstvu Essie Going Incognito, a nadlak. Tento crackle byl nejhustší ze všech. Je skvělý pro jiné experimenty.

This was the first time I tried any crackle nail polish. These were provided to me by mojesminky.cz. You could see some basic swatches here, in another post I will show you some layering experiments. All three Barry M´s dry matte. Crackle nail polishes from Barry M are overall four, there is yet a black one called Black Magic.

Use of crackles: 1. Apply a base coat and wait till it dries. 2. Apply any color of a nail polish and wait till it dries. 3. Apply the crackle nail polish in a thin coat, don´t paint it two times on the same place. Be quick. Then wait till the nail polish crackles. 4. Apply a top coat.

Poprvé, co jsem vyzkoušela tzv. crackle (praskací) laky. Tyto tři mi poskytli Bára a Lukáš z e-shopu mojesminky.cz pro recenzi. Je to český internetový obchod s kosmetikou značky Barry M. Dnes jste mohli vidět základní lakování, v jiném příspěvku vám ukážu experimenty. Všechny tři praskací laky schnou matně. Crackly od Barry M jsou celkem čtyři, ještě existuje černý s názvem Black Magic :)

Použití cracklů: 1. Naneste podlak a počkejte, až zaschne. 2. Naneste vrstvu/y jakéhokoli barevného laku a počkejte, až zaschne. 3. Nyní naneste crackle lak, ale v tenké vrstvě a tak, abyste nelakovali dvakrát na stejné místo. Buďte rychlí. Pak opět počkejte, než lak popraská. 4. Naneste nadlak.

Nubar Reclaim

A green holographic nail polish from Nubar´s Going Green collection (2009). I didn´t see its holographic power but Reclaim was beautiful in the shade. I was pretty surprised because I expected it to be worse, not becoming. In real life it´s more grass green (but decent!), not like on most of the internet pictures with the inclusion of mine. I applied two coats.

Zelený holografický lak z kolekce Going Green (2009) od Nubaru. Jeho holografického efektu jsem si nevšimla (nesvítilo Slunce), ale ve stínu byl moc hezký. Na fotkách na internetu mě nikdy nezaujal - byl na nich jaksi tmavý. Ve skutečnosti je však nevýrazný a vkusný. A spíš trávově zelený (ale decentní!). Nanesla jsem dvě vrstvy bez nadlaku.

Orly Thorned Rose
