Dnes jsem pro vás vytvořila manikúru podle hlavy a krku divoké kachny :) Inspirací pro mě byla taťkova fotka, která mi dlouho leží v počítači a já ji někdy chtěla použít.
Nejprve jsem lakovala jednu vrstvu matného laku na nehty, OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow SUEDE. Schne celkem rychle, takže jsem brzy mohla nanést (pouze na horní část nehtu a dobře otřeným štětečkem) slabou vrstvu laku Zoya Ivanka. Chvíli jsem počkala a dolakovala spodní část nehtu vrstvou dobře krycího laku Essie Little Brown Dress. Nakonec jsem vytvořila bílý pruh na hranici zelené a hnědé barvy lakem Essence Tip Painter. Podle mě byla manikúra nejhezčí v průběhu tvorby, v krocích č. 2 a 3.

The inspiration for this manicure came from my father´s photo with a wild duck. I liked how the duck´s head and neck looked and I had to try something like this on my nails :) First I used one coat of a matte nail polish, OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow SUEDE. It dries quite quickly so I could paint the upper half of my nails with a thin coat of Zoya Ivanka. Then I polished the lower half of my nails with one coat of well covering nail polish, Essie Little Brown Dress. Finally I made a white stripe with Essence Tip Painter. How do you like my manicure?

OdpovědětVymazatReally pretty and so well done. This duck is called a Wood Duck in the USA. It's rare to see one where I live - but we are in a flight-way and my entire town has a huge brackish water marsh with the back part of it fresh water and we are an official national bird sanctuary. I have seen maybe 10 of these in the yrs I have lived here...they are stunning to see. I need to get that OPI Suede - it's the only one of the Suedes I don't own...was not a fan of the cream so did not get the Sueded when it was out. Seeing it now a # of times, I can tell how very different the suede version is. Love it with a clear topper over it.

beachgal, thank you :) By us, we have quite a lot of Wood Ducks here, as well as Swans and Coots,... That OPI belongs to my favorite green polishes. It is so beautiful with a top coat, much more better than without it! I don´t own the non-matte version but I´ve heard that the non-matte and the matte version are very different, as you wrote.
